The staff of Children's Learning Center are dedicated individuals who are highly motivated to provide a warm, loving environment for your child. All lead teachers have a four year degree in early childhood /related fields. Our teachers consistently receive ongoing training by attending workshops and childcare conferences that are offered throughout the year.
Shannon Wilson My name is Shannon Wilson and I am the director of the new Children's Learning Center of New Hanover Health Network. I look forward to working with the employees of NHHN in providing quality care for your children. I attended East Carolina University, where I studied Elementary Education. I also have Credentials I & II and Business Administration I & II through the state of North Carolina. I have been working in the childcare field for almost ten years and have been a director for eight years. I moved here, with my husband and 2 children, from Raleigh where I was the director of a corporate child care center. Meaghan Miner My name is Meaghan Miner and I have been hired as the Assistant Director of the Children's Learning Center of New Hanover Health Network. I have been working for our sister school, Children's Learning Center, for two years first as a lead teacher then as an Assistant Director. My husband and I are originally from Maine but Wilmington has been our home for seven years now. I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and the North Carolina Administration Credential. For ten years, I have been working with children and their families and I love the work I do. I am so excited about opening CLC of NHHN and working with you and your children.
